Edward Ray Danner (February 14, 1900 – January 26, 1970) was a Democratic politician from Omaha who served in the Unicameral Nebraska Legislature from 1963 until his death in 1970. As a Senator, he championed civil rights legislation, including the Nebraska Fair Employment Act, and successfully repealed Nebraska's ban on interracial marriage.[1]
